Invisible Grills in Kerala
Invisible grills use high-tensile, corrosion-resistant steel wires stretched vertically or horizontally across windows, balconies and open ledges at 2, 3 or 4 inch spacing. Unlike traditional iron grills, they stay nearly invisible from both inside and outside, so you keep an unobstructed view and natural light while closing off a fall risk. Widely used in Singapore for over a decade, this stainless-steel-cable system is now a proven, modern alternative to bulky M.S. grills here in Kerala.
Why choose Invisible Grills
- Keeps the view, breeze and natural light completely open
- Made from marine-grade stainless steel — rust and weather resistant
- Rated to hold a tensile/compression load of over 400 kg — far stronger than it looks
- No welding or heavy fabrication — clean, low-mess installation
- Doesn't block fire-exit access the way iron grills can
- Narrow wire spacing also keeps pigeons and other birds off the balcony
- Paint-free and non-rusting — lifelong, virtually zero maintenance
What goes into every installation
SS304 / SS316 marine-grade tensioned wire cables, 2 mm, 3 mm or 4 mm thick
7x7 Nano Technology cable construction: 1.7 mm SS316 core with 0.3 mm melt-bonded nylon coating for a 2.0 mm finished diameter
Aluminium track (powder-coated, white as standard, customisable) with SS316 4-way stiffeners and SS304 washers & fixing screws
Anchor fittings drilled directly into the frame using M60/M80 SS304 anchor bolts, not the glass
Wire spacing of 2, 3 or 4 inches, engineered to prevent a child or pet from slipping through
No hot work or welding needed — just 1.5 inches of fixing space required
Field-tested against monsoon humidity and coastal salt air
